How bad or good are they? We have our 1 only sony DFP-2000 hooked up to it. Its the only one left at my theater still using one, the rest are hard wired.

Can one hook up a sony DFP-2000 through a JSX1000 and bypass the sonys EQ device. I have read from older posts that it has been done but not through a JSX1000.

You can, I suppose. But why? The Sony EQs are every bit as good as the Ultras and in fact, much better and a bunch quieter.
