This movie came with like 8 trailers in the can! That's too many trailers, right?

Scary Movie 2 came with 9 enclosed and 1 attached.
You could always out a trailer in between each reel to have a commercial break.

This has been brought up many times before. I think the general consensus is that they don't actually expect you to play all those trailers with the print, the depots are just saving money on shipping costs.

I can understand how annoying it must be when someone posts a topic that has "sooo been done to death."

Judging from the thousands of posts, I'm sure that a lot of stuff has been gone over before. The problem for us newbies is that sometimes a search doesn't prove useful.

In this case, I was commenting on a specific film that is in current release and so technically this has not been covered already.

On the other hand, the rest of your response provides the information I needed. Specifically, that the studio doesn't expect all of those trailers to play...just saving a couple of dollars, etc.

Thanks.

BTW I considered posting this in the Trailers & Information section, but I thought there was too much potential for this to turn into chit-chat...boy was I wrong!

Come to think of it...Yak might have been better place.

No problem Manny. As Mr. Garrison says, there are no stupid questions, just stupid people .
