Trying to figure out what style bulb goes into a Christie BSG-50 Vertical Lamphouse. Would it be a normal Christie CXL 20 or CXL 30, etc. or something different?

They would typically use a verticle bulb such as say an xbo900ofr or xbo2500ofr depending on the wattage
