Author Topic: Brenkert motor Don Sneed Master Film Handler Posts: 451 From: Texas City, TX, USA Registered: Aug 2001 posted 06-04-2002 10:48 AM                        I have a theatre that needs a projector motor for a Brenkert BX-60 with a RCA soundhead, he had rewind the motor twice but now wants a new motor, the question is...Where, What Type, & Can I Get A New One ?? What sound head do you have? the 9030/9050, or the 1040? I think I promised the 9030 motor to Josh if he needed it. If he gives me permission to let it go, it is yours. You pay the shipping. Thompson The Weenie Man Posts: 4718 From: Mount Vernon WA USA Registered: Nov 2000 posted 06-05-2002 11:33 AM                     In the 40's and 50's, (as far as I can remember) all the motors were rewound and rebuilt by hand, and then baked. Those motors never seem to fail under normal operating conditions. I would presume today motor failures are due to lack of quality control when being rewound or rebuilt.  |  IP: Logged
