I came across this article on imdb.com that might bring a smile to many of your faces.

"Technicolor Sees Red Over Piracy Accusations

Technicolor said Wednesday that it did not expect its relationship with the motion picture industry to be affected by accusations by a group of music companies that it illegally copied compact discs. As today's (Thursday) Wall Street Journal observed, several of the music companies are corporate siblings of Technicolor's biggest customers. In a lawsuit, they complained that Technicolor had engaged in "large-scale and continuing infringement of plaintiffs' copyrighted sound recordings." Technicolor has denied the charge, while noting that CDs represent less than 1 percent of its manufacturing output. "

This is purely speculation since the articles don't go into detail but I would imagine that the allegations probably revolve around orders the company manufactured for other parties since Technicolor is one of the largest makers of CDs and DVDs in the world. Again speculating, the upshot may be that media replicators will have to do a more thorough job of authenticating who is placing an order.

Gee, it's nice to see Technicolor is consistant -- pissing off EVERYONE it deals with, not just booth techies.
