One possible cause/solution:

You can get the flashing green light on the dts reader if the path isn't just right. Sometimes the reader's attached guide roller (the black one with flanges) needs to be checked/adjusted. It has a tiny allen screw that locks it in place and keeps it from swivelling out of position. The guide rollers on my projectors like to be at a 45-degree angle.

I just had to deal with this for E.T. and adjusting the guide roller on the dts reader solved the problem.

And, hey! Let's be careful out there.

Check the reader first, it should not flash a lot. If it does, you'll need to check film tension (place the aux roller as close to the large center roller as possible) and the voltage to the reader's red LED> There is a procedure for that on our online techcenter - look at dealer updates for Jan2002.

It could also be a drive problem. If the light on the drives themselves come on solid - that means it cannot read the disc and the unit will default.

Let me know if you have any questions.
