Does anyone know the shutter efficiency of these Kinoton electronic intermittent machines?
The literature I have says the efficiency is greater than a maltese cross system but I haven't been able to find any actual numbers.
TIA

HI -

Don't have any figures but I can speak from experience. We've put in a number of FP30E and FP38E's. Light output is virtually identical to the adjacent FP20s, certainly no appreciable gain on the electronic machines. We've been extremely impressed with the mahcnies, especially the 16mm on the FP38 - a rock solid picture and very "film-tolerant". We've got an old print of an episode of the Sweeny and whilst I can't say it looks like 35mm the only real visible difference is the resolution - light and pix movement are indistinguishable

Cheers
