I was reading in the "Tips" section of this website about building-up a print that Goldberg makes a reel that eliminates the need for a Make-up table. How do these work (do they split?), and how much are they? Any info would be appreciated....

They are about $300 (without shipping case) and yes they come apart similar to a split reel.
