we have a dts system with 3 drives. i was wondering if it would be possible to play and audio cd in the third drive. we have a tape player hooked up to the unit it now, but its harder to make tapes than cds.

Brad is way right. Don't do it.(wouldn't work anyway) Best advice is to get a DTS trailer disc for your third drive. Call DTS and request 'em. Usally have just about all the current trailers on them.

yea, i didn't really think it would work. i'm gonna ask our head projectionist about hooking up a discman to it, and replace his tape player.

Hook up a Quadraphonic 8-track tape player and play one of those Ford demo tapes

No, you cannot play any type of disc that is not a DTS cinema movie or trailer disc.

Do not confuse the consumer software with the cinema discs = they are not the same and cannot be interchanged.

That would be a neat trick connecting it to the third drive, wouldn't it?
