Hello, I'd like to know the average price for second hand Dolby SRD cat.701 reader and for a second hand DA 20 processor.
Thanks.

When you can find em that can be pretty reasonable but I have a policy that I never pay more than half dealer cost, and usually less than that, for anything that is used no matter what it is.

Marc,

what is dealer cost, to help or friend. (I know should be kept confidential). Manufacturing cost is about $ 500.

Dealer pricing varies by the manufacturer......sometimes 3 to 4 levels of discount based on how much you sell. I love it when somebody say I can get X% over dealer cost....yeah but at what price break?

Stefan, I'd be surprised if it even cost this much.....

I've learned one thing...It is better to buy from a Dolby Master Dealer than to be a regular dealer. Your cost is much lower and the benefits are basically the same. You can compete even with the largest dealers this way. Although I do try to push only Dolby, if we were a regular Dolby dealer we would still be considered a smallish dealer and would pay more as a result. All in all, its all pretty foolish for a vender to do buisness this way. In the long run it will end up hurting the vendor more than helping.
