Anyone have any experience with OPAMP LABS mag preamp cartridge?
WE have a mag festival coming up in a budget concieous circuit that will require a total of 8 4track MPU's so I was thinking of useing these modules

Are these for mag. tape, or for a mag. phono cartridge? The EQ is very differnet. You cannot interchange them.

Where did that picture come from? I thought I had a reel of film in my hands when that was taken.

I have built magnetic pre-amps for penthouses and for daily playback using opmap cans with great success. You can call them directly, the son of the founder is now running the company, and they are very helpful.........

Over the years I have used many of there modules for use with solar cells and I still own a Opamp Labs mixing console but I didn't have much info on how well the mag can worked with the lower impedance heads in a penthouse compared to the higher impedance in a dubber where we did once use them

Gordon, the Opamp 365P works to a 3 - 12mH head impedence so it should do the trick.
