Trailers run in SR and the feature runs in SRD. Just as the splice to R1 goes through an audible hum comes on in the left surrounds and stays there all the way throughout the feature (6 reels). Why the hum?

have you had your digital system serviced recently....is this the first time you have herad this in this feature......is it a new feature or one that has been playing there a while......do you have more than one digital system in that auditorium....if so does it give you the same problems when running it in different systems.....

Darryl: It was a "new" feature (arthouse print/circuited) and the first time I heard the hum in that particular auditorium.

What make of processor is the DA20 coupled with or is it a CP500 or 650?
If it is a seperate processor check the cable connecting the DA20 to it
otherwise check if it is the print and then start looking in the DA20
