I am curious as to what every one's ideal projection booth would be. Please include type of speakers you would put in the auditorium, aud. size, projector type, sound format, THX or not,and so on...

I thought that too ...

Which is the best/worst projector?
Which splicing tape is the best?
Whats your favorite xenon bulb brand?
Best/worst projector
Best 2 piece lamphouse?
Amps and Processors
What's your favorite drivein lamphouse?

That's all I feel like typing. Click "search" at the bottom of the screen and enter "favorite" as the search term for more.

A good question but the answers would be subjective. My favourite booth is just about any modern projection booth. Why? Because like many of our FilmTech site users I came from the days when the only heat source was the projector. Many a cold winter night was spent sitting between two Century projectors with Peerless lamphouses (while wearing a sweater) trying to stay warm. Many summer nights were spent in swealtering heat. All of this in a tiny concrete/steel walled room high in the building above the balcony.

I just love these new modern booths.

Hell, my booth is STILL like that! (except there's a platter now, so no more sitting between the lamphouses.)
