OK every bloody! Can anyone please supply me with info regarding the Megaron 2K lamp house? I did not see the books on the Manuals forum. Operating instructions, parts, assembly and wiring diagrams and parts availability info would be most welcome. Has anyone have experience with these? What is your opinion regarding quality and reliability?

Will,
If you're talking about the pair in the Rex Allen Theatre you should just forget it. They are not worth putting a dime into! That whole theatre needs a major overhaul and reliable(low maintainance) equipment installed to be able to go back online and generate any revenues at all. The stuff there is junk and the owners(board of directors) were already taken once by a scoundrel equipment dealer in Phoenix. Please leave well enough alone, at least if these are the ones you are talking about.

You can get some parts from L.P. Associates in Los Angeles.....awful lamphouse ( also known as the Rank lamphouse for export ) but when they can out in the early 1970's they where better than the vertical type and early Christie units then available. I loved how the fiberglas cover would be slowly destroyed by the U.V. from the xenon bulb and turn brittle with light leaks...ugh.
