I just read the thread in here on non-sync music. Would you play
Native American Indian&related CD's as non-sync music? I would.
In fact, two of my great grandmothers were Native American Indian.
I would play R.Carlos Nakai,Kevin Locke,Coyote Oldman&some Indian
dance songs for example.

All depends on the movie and the theatre policy for non-sync presentation, Matthew.

If it were up to me I'd take those Movie Tunes disks out and burn them and dance around the fire as they went up in smoke.

If the music fit into the "style" of a theatre and it was acceptible to the general clientelle I'd play American Indian music. Honestly, If you OWN a theatre and you have the rights to the music, you can play whatever you damn well please. (This is still a free country, isn't it?)

We occasionally play the "Wolves" soundtrack, which has a Native American flavor to it. It's kinda subdued, though, and makes me sleepy.
