Where would you need to place the guide rollers? The film is often shuttled back and forth at high speed during the process of setting color correction parameters for each scene by the "colorist". Platters are used by theatres to minimize film handling for prints that are shown repeatedly, and would offer no real advantage for telecine use. ------------------ John P.
