In San Francisco there is a Movie restaurant now showing

"Cinema Paradiso " in 35mm.. www.FOREIGNCINEMA.COM
This is a unique place for a movie and good food.......

This is not a new idea. It has been done for decades in Europe and Mexico. Open air theatres were built in Mexico in the 60's. I don;t know if they are still operating though. It's odd that they are running Appocolypse Now in 16mm or is that a typo?

I love the simulated SMPTE leader (that counts to '1'- you'd figure that a site thought up by people in the industry would at least get THAT right... yes i can be a stickler) Or the simulation of scratchy dirty film?.... Are they trying to advertise that the food is better than the presentation quality?
