Some more stuff I forgot to mention: instead of film-clamps, see about the Hula-Hoops that fit on the platter flange. Also see about the aluminum rollers for the AW-3 pay-out head (they really help w/static electrictiy - along w/ Film-Guard!) Also forgot that Q-tips were at each projector. I DO NOT USE tooth brushes to clean intermittent sprockets. I had a problem with bristles getting cought in the intermittent resulting in scratched prints! I now take a lot of time to clean intermittents and sprockets w/ alcohol and Q-Tips!
I DO NOT LIKE WD-40! Initally it is good, but when it dries up, it will leave a dry residue that attracks dirt and aids corrosion! Use a light sewing-machine oil or Marvel Mystery Oil! Light detergent soap for cleaning platters. DO NOT USE ALCOHOL on bare aluminum platters such as on the AW-3 - it will result in black oxidation. Do not use Armor-All ( it is alcohol based and can eventually ruin plastics/vinyls, etc.) STP Silicon is much better! Proper projector/soundhead lubricants and oils.

AND OF COURSE A NEVER ENDING KEG OF GUINNESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DamnIt! How do you use the smileys?!

Welcome to film-tech Will,

Just to let you know it is best to keep your posts about a subject in the same thread. In other words the things you forgot to mention should have been posted in the booth supplies Thread. This keeps things straight and makes it easy to look things up. Brad will probably lock this thread to avoid confusion.

Have a good day.

Sorry about that goof! I thought I was in the other thread and must have done something wrong on the computer. Maybe this can be transfered over to the other thread?
