Hi Everyone,

Are there any resources that have threading diagrams for the Century C and SA projectors. Something like the Christie diagram under TIPS/Threading 101.

thanks...

Armin

There's a picture of a properly threaded Century in the manual (at least the SA manual has this). The C has exactly the same threading pattern; the only major difference is that it uses a straight gate rather than curved, but everything else is the same.

The SA is one of the easiest projectors to thread. It is very forgiving of mistakes. Only bit of advice I can give that I know for sure is the correct way of doing things is to set the upper loop with the pad roller in the open posistion and the film threaded so it is tight around it. The manual says to set the lower loop with the pad roller open too, but either I'm doing something wrong or that gives a too small loop every time.
