Hmm.
I would really like to know what is your favorite projector and why. Mine is of course Cinemeccanica Victoria 5 so far. I believe it is the easiest threaded projector ever to be created by any manufacturer. I have found this projector over 16 years of running to be solid still and very very very reliable projector. (Unlike Victoria 4 model). After installing and working with Christie's, honestly, I think they suck! Sorry for the expression They do have good consoles though but as projectors they are the worst I have ever seen. Recently I've helped in the installation of 3 Kinoton FP30E projectors at a new complex opening down here in Cyprus. Very easy to assemple, extremely easy to connect, Very quiet projectors but threading them is like trying to kill an elephant with a knife! Just joking. I have not seen them in real real action yet since the complex is still in the make but the projector booth is ready. I have heard that they are very good projectors. I was thrilled with the non-adjusting cross so that each time a belt is cut you won't have to go through a whole process of timing again the shutter with the cross.
So
What is YOUR favourite projector and Why?
Just wondering

There have been quite a few threads about "What is your favorite...?" on Film-Tech in the past. Use the "Search" function and resurrect an older thread on the equipment you want to voice an opinion on. That way, the opinions are not spread among many threads.

Thanks John. I am closing this thread to keep things together. Demetris, please feel free to post this at the end of an already-established "favorite projector" discussion.
