I know because I have repaired over 300 of them! Electrohome monitors had the highest catastrophic failure rate. Flybacks, Horizontal output transistors, capacitors, etc. sometimes all failing at the same time. When they are working they do have a great picture on them, though. I didn't realize that videogames used Electrohome monitors. Those monitors do seem to be pretty common in airports, though. Usually the focus is horribly misadjusted, but I'm more inclined to attribute that to poor maintenance on the part of the airports rather than to poor quality of manufacture. Let's just hope that the people who maintain the monitors aren't the same people who maintain 747s... Electrohome video game monitors are high maintenance units so they should fit right in with Christie perfectly.
