While I was organizing some older articles I run upon a Dolby Labs Newsletter mentioning the (then new product) Cat. No. 706 Video test signal generator for setting up SR-D equipement.
Did anyone ever use or uses this?

I have used it several times,when not sure if was the processor or the videoboard which was defective.Has also used it for demonstration,and training.

If I understand wright, it conects to the digital reader input of the processor. What kind of signals does it generate? Dolby Tone, Pink noise or simulates certain "bad" situations?
