Gordon, I would like to thank you for the information you provided me about the ORC igniter that was used in the older ORC Consoles.

I do think this igniter is headed south, as I had to adjust the gap once before about six months ago. Hopefully, I can get one of those junker consoles out service soon so I can use if for parts to keep the others running.

Gordon, just thought I would update you on the igniter. It wasn't even the right one in that console in the first place. It was actually too small, and by the physical size of it, it looks like something that came from an ORC 1KW of some sort. Anyway, I had the pleasent opportunity to "eject" a console from the booth (literally) and before I threw it out the booth window, I removed the igniter and put it in place of the much smaller one. Works perfectly...

It seems that what started as a private email about a booth problem has somehow turned itself into a public thread halfway through the communication process. In the future, please keep email correspondance as private emails. Neither post here contain any details about a problem, nor do they include enough information regarding the solution of that problem as to be of any asistance to other readers. Both of these posts should have been sent directly to Mr.McLeod via private email, as the rest of the discussion apparently was.
