Last year I took some pictures during “Baraka” in 70mm in a swim pool in Copenhagen. Now, I have uploaded the article on my web site including some of my 35mm 200 ASA KODAK pictures.

See it at http://hjem.get2net.dk/in70mm/magazine/backissues/2000/62/dgi/atsea.htm

Click on pictures to see enlargements.

Note: The audience are sitting on the pool floor in the middle of the bath. The floor can be raised or lowered into the water. With that in mind, wouldn’t it be a great idea to run “Titanic” in 70mm DTS. When the ship brakes in two, then have the floor lowered into the pool water? A true interactive experience and a performance that surely would hit frontpages globally.

Just imagine the pandemonium when the audience realizes there aren’t enough lifebelts or they have run out of beer when standing in hot water enjoying “Titanic”.

Other films suitable for this kind of presentation: “The Big Blue”, “The Posidon Adventure”, “Waterworld” etc, etc.

All the best
