We got the new print of A Place To Stand in 70mm today. It looks absolutly spectacular and it is nice to see all to original vibrant colours restored.
Also to note is that David Keighley (dkp70mm inc) paid for the print restoration himself. The print is sepmag 6 track ToddAo SR on all tracks
It will screen at Ontario Place along with a restored print of the first Imax film North of Superior

Gordon: That's great! Thanks to David Keighley for sponsoring the new print of this landmark 1967 film.

I look foward to seeing the new print of "North of Superior", as it was my very first of many enjoyable IMAX experiences. (1971)

Glad to hear the new prints look so good. Many people despair when they see faded "pink" prints made before the more stable Kodak print stocks that became widely available in 1982. But with the proper storage they deserve, color negatives have generally fared much better, and can still produce excellent prints.
