Author Topic: UK Association of Projectionists Dick Vaughan Phenomenal Film Handler Posts: 1032 From: Bradford, West Yorkshire, UK Registered: Jul 2000 posted 01-26-2001 02:44 AM                        Received a flyer through the post today from an organisation calling themselves The Association of Film Projectionists. They are offering membership/newsletter and the entitlement to use the letters AFP after your name in exchange for an annual subscription of around £50. See the thread titled 'Attention UK Readers - is this a scam?' on Film-Tech. It looks to me like someone is trying to make a quick buck to me. The sad thing is that at £56 a time, all it takes is for three or four suckers to fall for it and (s)he's probably made a tidy profit.  |  IP: Logged Paul G.
