Author Topic: Scope + Throw distance. Can it be done? Bernie Anderson Jr Master Film Handler Posts: 435 From: Woodbridge, New Jersey Registered: Apr 2000 posted 01-23-2001 02:16 PM                        Hi Guys, I was wondering if there is a way to show C-scope with a throw of 14 feet? All the attachments I've seen have an marking of 17 feet. But seems that you can focus past that marking. The closest barrel marking is 5 meters or a little less then 17 ft but will still focus closer. I ran a test film with resolution targets and found I could go to 12 ft and still get excellent sharpness. The 12 ft distance was about it. Any closer and the image lost sharpness.
