My brother wants to know about the following:
Are there any drive-in movie theatres still operating in Texas?
If anyone has any input on building a drive-in theatre. He wants to possibly build one because one no longer exists(Gone 20 years)in this area.

Thanks for the plug Dave, but the URL is www.drive-insdownunder.com

(forgot the "-"!)

Texas once had more drive-ins than anywhere but few remian open now. Like central Australia and parts of Africa one of the main reasons for closure was the temperature was too hot!

Indoor theatres with air-con made for a happier moviegoing experience.

It's a fabulous site David, you truly had (have) some lovely DI's down there. I guess OZ is one place where winter is the prime season! With luck, you guys will keep a few family operations around just like up here.
