Is there any published data by manufacturers or anyone else giving light output in lumens for specific lamphouses? This should specify the speed and EF of the lens so you can compare apples to apples.
I have some information that was published by McAuley (Peerless) in the fifties giving this information on their carbon arclamps.

It would vary widely depending on many factors: Bulb wattage, type of reflector, bulb alignment, how much current you are running thru the aforementioned bulb, probably more.

I would assume that the carbon lamps had less variables and the data could be printed out and basically apply to any of the comparable lamphouses...
