Author Topic: Analog Reader Problems ? Paul Konen Jedi Master Film Handler Posts: 981 From: Frisco, TX. (North of Dallas) Registered: Jun 99 posted 09-15-2000 09:28 AM                     This may be a problem with my analog pickup but here is the situation. During the playing of Duet's and an IMAX trailer when I was actually in the theatre and not hanging out the porthole, I noticed the following. Playing in Dolby Sr (Mode 5) the VU meter only shows levels in the Right channel and a little in the center and sub. Nothing at all in the left. Changed to Dolby A (Mode 4) and all channels kicked in. Both in actual sound and display on the meter. Any ideas what could be the problem. Equipment: CP-500 Cat 701 Digital Reader (Reading 8-F) Christie P35GPS head with Dolby Analog Reader.
