I have a 10 yr old strong/simplex projector head. The head has a curved gate and I need to reorder those thin peices of metal that are connected to the film trap knob.
What are these called

Thanks

Marc,
You can find a detailed description of the parts in the manual site on this forum. The straps in question are called "Pressure Straps" or at least that is what Strong calls them. The part number you may need is "P-4078" and need to be done in pairs, Just be careful not to cross thread the very smalls screws when putting these back together. Removing the trap assembly is required, and that is done by loosening the one straight slotted screw on the trap. Be sure to clean both surfaces when re-assembling. Hope this helps
