Hi guys

Don't know how to post it exactly: my HT room is large and thus I am slowly "feeding" it with pro JBL and QSC amp. Got one sub for now (and two 8330) and should be complete by end of the year.
I wonder what you guys use (amps, watts, wire gauge, do you match the amp power with the IEC watts capacity of the speakers etc, at what hz do you set the crossovers, high pass filter level..) in the "small" theaters (say 150-300 seats) as for JBL and amps. The room is 8,000 cubic feet (with 17meters *6.5m *2.4meter, not ideal as it's too lon but good for the 20hz )
I like the QSC DCA the only QSC I ever listened to. If anyone here has that "magic" formula to calculate watts requirements with room volume and speakers nr and sensitivity, feel free to comment (there are a lot more variables to take into account of course)
I am not a part of the film projection/handling world but am damn interested in it, especially the sound, the THX recommendations, DTS ES, 3DLP digital projectors (have you seen the news on SDI dvd players? ....) etc.
Thanks in advance!
