Long story short, the password was set on one of our CP500s and now can not be remembered. Someone mentioned that it can be "bypassed" by holding a combination of the front panels buttons down while turning the unit on. Any one have any help on this?

Yes, there is a series of buttons that can be pressed in a certain order and certain combination to get it, but I really don't think Dolby wants it posted for anyone to see here. Please email Lonny Jennings at Dolby at lj@dolby.com if you are a qualified tech to be making adjustments to the machine. It's there to prevent tweekers.
