Author Topic: Buttons for overriding password on CP500? Cory Johnson Film Handler Posts: 46 From: La Crosse, WI USA Registered: Aug 1999 posted 07-25-2000 11:15 PM                     Long story short, the password was set on one of our CP500s and now can not be remembered. Someone mentioned that it can be "bypassed" by holding a combination of the front panels buttons down while turning the unit on. Please email Lonny Jennings at Dolby at lj@dolby.com if you are a qualified tech to be making adjustments to the machine. It's there to prevent tweekers.
