First I have to say that I am really a newcomer in this movie theater business. I don't know practically anything about the technology or anything. But I am (probably) going to show films in a small, old theatre at my home town. There is two Cinemeccanica Victoria IV E projectors installed, and I don't have any kind of manuals or documentation about those things. I had a phone call to a projector equipment dealer and asked for a manual. The only thing they had there was some kind of a "explosion diaphragm" about Vic 4, but that wasn't really what I was looking for.
I think these machines are originated from around 1940's so I think the manuals or other documents have been lost for ages. So, If You have any kind of data about these machines, (preferably in PDF or text format), please contact me.

I've forwarded your request to our local tech, who just happens to be a Cinemeccanica reseller. He's probably on vacation right now, but once he gets back he might be able to help.

Welcome to the forum.

Allright! I would be thankful for any kind of help! I know that I can't become a skilled projectionist just by reading manuals or books, but I think it would be good to have some documentation.
Tack så mycket!

You can learn a lot by reading, though. Start by reading Film-Tech regularly. There are some very knowledgeable people around here, all perfectly willing to offer advice and tips.

Ole hyvä.
