Someone here or on History in a can Gave me a A web address that sells Orc 1600 parts ..That listed the parts with prices online....I just bought a couple...but one has a cracked "heat sheild" lens thingy that is in front of the bulb...I lost that address...could the person post it again or could someone else...or email me at...Lspencer1744@cs.com

There is a search engine here. Type in ORC and it will show you every time the brand "ORC" has been mentioned and provide you with links.

Luther, That cracked lans is quite pricey new. Hopefully you can find a used one. If you can't you can put it abck together with red high temp silicon. Believe it or not that will work fine in most cases as long as you have all the pieces. This is quite common in LuMex lamphouses running 2kw.

thanks Brad,,,And Ken you have ben very helpful in my getting into 35mm...I looked again on the Lamphouses and they State...Model number 7100...Wil-ken ( I believe) another number 2500 with two letters in front of it..Manufactured by the Optical Radiation Corp...I can't remember what was the two letters..THe lamphouses arn't at my house yet...also the lamphouses don't have the round hole to put a pipe for the heat it is smooth on top...there is an opening with screen but it is square and level with the top......I will send pictures after I get them home...I want the manuals and Service manuals...I like to have the manuals for all my equipment...Mike

Mark..the lens is still in place and pretty solid...You can use it this way?...It is just cracked....A bulb blew up( I was told) and cracked it in a few places...It is still intact...MIKE
