I figured I would post this request here since almost nobody reads the wanted/for sale forum...

I am in *dire* need of a Christie MW3 (yes, thats a Miniwind) motherboard, Christie part # 193838-3 all it has to do is the following:

1. be COMPLETE and UNDAMAGED in any way (it can be less motor control cards)

2. Cost less than $980 (what my dealer is quoting me for the MW3 retrofit to end the motherboard meltown problem once and for all)

The board I have has melted down once too many times and has some bad flame and heat damage to several components that are not available from Chrisite any more.

I spoke with Christie, they have not supported the older single-board MW3 for over four years, and *no* replacement parts are available to repair the older units, hence the retrofit kit (Christie PN 196288-001 for anyone interested, it basically converts the single-board style MW3 into a regular AW3-type archetecture with the components mounted on separate assemblies in a hinged door that is *much* easier to adjust and service without having to do a major disassembly job- it has a complete vertical mast and three disc arms, you add your own LED units and base)

Thanks for any assistance you can offer.

Aaron

I can't help you there, but did you even try the Equipment forum? Just because you don't see replies (they aren't permitted, except during glitches in the software) doesn't mean things aren't being found. The whole point of not allowing replies is to keep private transactions private (forced emails and not posts).
