Just thought I'd let everyone know that the Stanford Theatre in Palo Alto, California has started their 3-D festival. This is the real thing folks! All double-system polaroid prints shown on a silver screen with carbon arc projection. This is the way these films were originally seen in theatres back in the early fifties. Right now they have a double-feature of HOUSE OF WAX and DIAL M FOR MURDER. This show runs until Thursday, May 4. On Friday they open with CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON and IT CAME FROM OUTER SPACE. If you've only seen these films in those terrible red/blue anaglyph versions, you haven't really seen them in 3-D. The underwater photography in CREATURE is excellent. The festival is scheduled to run throughout May. For more info, check out the theatres website at www.stanfordtheatre.com

Don't miss this unique opportunity to see some really rare 3-D films in a classic restored theatre!
