Anyone running or going to run the re-issue? It apparently has an extra 12 'never before seen' minutes added and is in all formats of sound. (That should be interesting). I wonder how it will hold up after all these years...

I guess it's a real treat for Linda Blair fans to see this movie again for the 100th time or so, but come on why not use the money on some serios film-restoration, there are many films waiting for it.

Yuk! Seen one green pea soup shot, you've seen them all. It was "sensational" when it came out being the first of it's kind, but I wouldn't waste money on restoring it. Apart from the explicit scenes, there wasn't much there, IMHO.
How bout restoring and reissuing "Forbidden Planet". Now there's a classic that deserves attention. Or how bout "The Time Machine"

Are these really quad-format prints? The WB 75th reissue prints had the "WB 75th" logo at the beginning and had DTS timecode with the soundtrack on CD-Rs. Not sure if the optical track was A or SR.
