On Amazon.com I noticed a book called "The Projectionist" by Philip Salom from 1985. There was absolutely no information about it, but it is'nt out of print. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about it. Also if you know of any other books about Projectionists that aren't just technical.

I some times have silly thoughts of writing some theater experiences down in a short book that I'll publish when I am an old man, and the cinema experience is a lot different than it is today. I think I'll call the book, "... and 12 hours on Saturday".

I noticed that under "The Projectionist" there is a place where you can look for books like it, and the choises are Sociology and Australian Literature. So the book may not be techincal.
