Is it possible to dissable the "This Message Has Been Edited By..." thingy? With the way I type, you will always find one of those at the bottom of my posts.

Ian

I agree! I think he's workin' on it, though. Honestly, who cares if a message has been edited by somebody?

Been working on that one. I think it was just yesterday I was venting my frustration to Joe about this. I agree, it's completely unnecessary and just plain annoying.

Hopefully the fix is coming soon.

Ok Ian, I've got it. You happy now!!!

You can delete that line in your old threads over the last few days by editing it out and all future posts will not have it.

If I choose to write something completely idiotic and then lots of folks respond by saying I'm an idiot... and then I "edit" my remarks to get rid of the thing which made me look like and idiot... and IF there's no indication that I did any editing, THEN those who responded would look like idiots.

I guess that's why these forums always require some notification that you've edited something. But, yes, it's annoying when all I want to do is correct a simple typing error and then the bottom of the page seems to scream "Hey! Look at this! The idiot was forced to edit what he wrote before!"

[This message has not yet been edited. I'm still an idiot, however.]
