I have an old Bauer U-4 Lamphouse with a horizontal bulb in one of the theaters I project at. The last time I took the negative side of the bulb out it was a fight to the finish. The negative silver end broke off, fortunately the bulb didn't explode. Finally I got it out. The new one went in OK. Well it's about time for a bulb change and if I can get it out again, I would like to know what I can do to the negative jaw to make bulb changes smooth again. I remember using Noxon after every show to clean the old spinning carbon Ashcraft jaws. But this may need a different solution. Thanks.
