I like it. Good information without too much flashy junk. How about including some pictures of the theatre (both exterior and interior)?

Thanks Scott. Actually, pictures were sent to Film-Tech for posting on this site...last we heard from Brad they will be posted sometime in April.

Of course, since those photos were taken, we've continued to do stuff, so I guess its time to shoot some more and dig into our extensive archive of bad 80's flashback photos (aka. the before renovation pics - can anyone say teal?)

As Tigger would say, TTFN

Ian and Ky: I find your new website fantastic the good thing is you get the 'What's showing' right away, and it's clean of all that bullshit many others have. Pictures will be nice, but no need to hurry with that i guess 'normal' people just want to see what's showing. It's only the projection interested people who want to see the technical stuff, like me

By the way - I'll add that very few theatres have decent web sites. Most of them are way too flasy, filled with Javascript crap and animated GIFs, but completely void of any real information. Others are woefully neglected and might have schedules that are several weeks old.

What I'd like to see on a theatre web site: current schedule with showtimes, ticket prices, and phone number to call for more information; old schedules (OK, I'm a theatre geek...I want to know what played and when!); general information like phone numbers for recording and office, directions to the theatre with maps, history and pictures of the theatre, information like number of auditoria/seating capacity/screen size/sound formats; list of upcoming features and approximate (or actual) start dates; contact information including physical and email addresses; and probably a bunch of other stuff that I can't think of right now.

Of course, all of this should be presented in a way that loads quickly, works without Java/Javascript, is compatable with older browsers (particularly Lynx), and which is updated regularly.

Mine's www.goforsyth.com/roxy

What's everyone paying for their websites? I think I got a great deal...$100 per year, and I give the guy and his family free passes. They are not real frequent moviegoers anyway, so it works out great.

Brad: Any chance these individual theatre links could be added to a special section of the Film-Tech links page?

I'll let this thread continue to grow for a week or two and then add everything on it, to give everyone time to post their websites.
