You guys have been really helpful in everything else that I've asked about, let's see what you can do with this one. It's probably gonna sound pretty silly to those of you that've been around projectors for a while, but I want to learn as much as I can and I don't get a lot of help in-house. I'm trying to identify some equipment on my projector and I have no clue what they are. My 'booth training' consisted pretty much of "Uhhh, I think this part is called a thinga-ma-jiggy". Some of the the quick and easy ones I'm trying to figure out are solar cell, backup lens, and slit lens. There are a few more, but I don't want to list them all. Any clues where to look for info. I'm trying to get ahold of the manual for the projector (Christie GP35 model i think). Any where else good to look?

That manual is available for free download here. Just click on the "Equipment Manual Downloads" and select the projector.

For some reason, I can't access any of the projector manuals. Are they on the server?

Sorry about that. Currently our friend Chris Trainor is setting us up with a new server with unlimited space to host the manuals on. His machines will greatly increase download speed over the ultra slow servers we are using now.

Everything should be back to normal by next week.

Cool. Thanks for clearing that up.
I have some connection in the domain/web server area if you ever need any help/space in the future.

I have a suggestion: Why don't you contact your Technical Services Coordinator? I am sure he would be willing to give you any information that you ask for. I am curious, who trained you?
