Can anyone give me a number to call or a website that will enable me to get Filmguard. I am trying to convince my manager that it works. And with how many testimonies that I have seen here, I have no doubt it would help us in our booth

Well, you are at the official Film-Guard web site. As far as ordering it, try your normal theatre booth supplier.

Juan, go to the Film-tech main page and click on the Filmguard link there you will find many dealers of Filmguard.

Any cinema suppliers in Europe sell Filmguard?

I know that Cinema Equipment Sales of California, Inc. sells overseas. You might want to give them a call. (949) 470-0298 They can also take credit cards.

Currently the only dealer outside of the US is G.A.McLeod Enterprises in Canada. A full listing of dealers is at www.film-tech.com/filmguard.html

If they take credit cards, will they sell to guys like me, Jim Z, and Masao. So that we Cinemark people can "sneak" it in through petty cash.

Yup. Most of the dealers will sell direct to individuals, independent theaters and film collectors. I'm not sure how many accept credit cards, but I know that one does.

I am going to compile information on credit card capability and shipping overseas to add to the dealer listing. Hopefully you will see that within a couple of weeks.

Suggested selling tool:

1) get some crummy, old film and play it for your manager.

2) get your manager to buy you just ONE bottle of FilmGuard. tell him if it doesn't work you won't ask him to buy anymore.

3) play the crummy film for the manager.

4) clean the film with FilmGuard and play it again. (You may have to clean it a few times if it's really crummy film.)

5) let the manager think it was HIS idea to buy FilmGuard!
