Was it the Jolson "Jazz Singer"?
Was it Vitaphone?
Was it 1.33 printed inside the 1.37 with an optical track?
DTS would be TOO righteous for words...

RCA still has legs, too.

The weird thing is that although you'd expect all the RCA Photophone stuff to be about as scarce in modern booths as Vitaphone stuff is, I keep seeing that "RCA Photophone Spare Parts Cabinet" in different booths. Even new booths, everyone's got one & brings it in...

Yes Mammy, It was the Jolsen version straight from the Warner vault as were most of the rest of the prints. We never did run it cause so many people wanted to come back to see a 2nd run of the Sound of Music. There was also a wet gate print of Raiders Of The Lost Ark(we ran it at 18fl) that proved that 35mm can still look and sound absolutely awsome(Lets see a DLP projector compete with this baby). All in all over 7000 people saw free film classics at the Boise 2000 Film Fest. Plus I also got to watch the 60 Hot Air balloons lined up down Capitol Blvd and fireworks over the capitol from on top of the Egyptian Marquee!! Not too bad a vantage point.
