Just checking out the Pic. Whse.
"Movies in the Park" looks pretty cool!

Somebody recently approached me about doing something similar here in Erie.

What are the parameters, here?

1) We have a space. It has electricity, facilities and a nice big wall we can paint white.

2) How do we get our hands on proj. equipment at 'reasonable' cost? Possibly, we could contract out for the summer? What about rental? I know places like Boston Light and Sound do this kind of thing but we're a long way from Bean Town!

If this were to take off, the possibility of getting investors to buy equipment permanently does exist.

In Toronto we do it at City Hall every summer in conjuction with the Toronto International Film Festival and they also do it regularly in the Parking Lot of City TV
They use a Simplex 35 on a Highlite2 console with a 7KW bulb and a Eprad DBLMUT. Usually it is a CP500 its
outputs are fed to a mixing console and then out to speakers. They use vaious screen surfaces
