I was just amazed at this artical. Four hours to clean a print? 4 projectionists to run a single screen? 2 per shift? Cutting film out of a program to meet a two hour show schedule? Kind of makes a few lost frames from multiple build-ups seem less of a big deal. But I know why his prints were in such bad shape when he got them. If everybody else was cutting stuff out and putting it back in, no wonder their films were in bad shape.

I wish we could tell this guy that we have one woman running a 16 screen theatre, on a shift, by herself, and doing a damn good job of it too.

Better you than me. You know me, I'd forget what booth I was in!
