I'm looking for the ANSI code for the exciter lamp for an SH-1000 soundhead. This is the type with a base that looks somewhat like that of a flashlight bulb, not the later "self-aligning" base like you find on exciter lamps for newer soundheads (later RCA models, Century, most 16mm machines, etc.). Does this lamp even have an ANSI code? Thanks!

You're looking for one of these depending on voltage/current rating with the standard single contact bayonet base:

BXC 8.5 volt, 4 amp

BXG 10 volt, 7.5 amp

BXR 10 volt, 5 amp

BULB DIRECT 1-800-772-5267 can get them for you.
