can anyone help answer why my projectors have a shaky picture? they shake up and down as well as left to right. sometimes the focus comes in and out of focus rapidly. thanks and cool web page.

The first thing to check would be the gate tension being too weak. If turning the adjustments doesn't help, then the gate tension bands (or shoes) are worn and should be replaced. Also, you should check the side film guide rails to see if a groove has worn into the metal. If so, that should be replaced.
