I have a friend who owns a theater in Chehalis, Washington who was told in order
to get the new Star Wars film he must have a digital sound system. Well he
ordered a $10,000 DTS system and it was installed yesterday (5/5/99). Now
Lucas says he can't have film because his market area is too small and won't bring
in enough money. Thanks alot George Lucas. We didn't need to send you 100%
of the boxoffice for the first two weeks anyway! I hope the movie flops.

Guess what? A few days after I posted my message about my friend in Chehalis,
Wash not being able to get Phantom Menace, he gets a call that he will now get to
show it after all!! I wonder if George Lucas was reading the messages?

If George was reading these posts, surely he would've refused to print Episode 1
in SDDS!

Actually, I did two screenings of this film and BOTH TIMES we were told
specifically to "NOT play the film in SDDS, but to play it in DTS or SRD!" Now
that's funny!
